Teresa Gale Barrett, 48, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2017. She was born October 15th, 1968 , the daughter of the late Thurman Barrett and Linda Sue Chase Mowdy. She lived all of her life in the Kingsport area. She was a dedicated mother to her two children.
She is survived by daughter; Rashia Barrett and special friend Oshea Wimbish of Kingsport, son; Walter Jones of Kingsport, Step- father; Danny Mowdy, two sisters; Lisa Sutherland and husband Tim of Kingsport and Tona Branham and husband Tony of Kingsport, two brothers; Phil Mowdy and wife Sherri of Bristol and Travis Mowdy and wife LeeAnn of Kingsport, several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Sunday June 11, 2017 at Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. June 12, 2017 at the funeral home with Daniel Sutherland officiating. The committal and burial will follow in the East Tennessee Cemetery in Blountville, Tennessee.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
