Monica Margaret Worley, 38, lost her battle to pancreatic cancer on Thursday, April 13, 2017 surrounded by her family. Monica was born March 21, 1979 in Bristol, TN, the daughter of the late Bobby E. Worley. Monica always loved life, spending time with her family and friends. Not a day went by that Monica didn’t make someone in her life smile and feel special.
She is survived by her two children; Alissa and George. She considered her children her greatest accomplishment in life. She is also survived by her mother, Judy Worley Body, and her bonus father, Peter Body. Her twin brother Mark R. Worley, and also her bonus siblings; Peter Body II and Diane, Michael Body and Leslie, Elizabeth Body and Emily, Sarah Body and Scott, Sonoko Stewart (her sister at heart) and Marlin. Also Rex Evans and wife Linda, Jonathan Musick and wife Colleen, Kami Taylor, Jimmy Millard and Mae Vandevender for all your support and loving care.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday April 19, 2017 at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, 19415 Lee Highway, Abingdon, VA 24212 with Pastor Brian Taylor officiating.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the Wellmont Hospice House for all the gentle and loving care. Along with BRMC 2 West nurses; Robin Bowman, NP, Betsy, Brittany, Ashlee and Robin for you wonderful care that you gave Monica.
