Roberta Lee Glover, 72, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2019. Born in Elmira, NY, our mom was the sweetest, kindest, funniest mother ever. She loved jokes and had this infectious cackling laugh that would cause others to laugh that will continue for generations because this same laugh was somehow handed down to her daughter and even one of her daughters believe it or not. The Walton’s and Golden Girls were her favorite shows and she has probably seen every episode a thousand times. Her beautiful picture that is displayed here was taken at her favorite restaurant, Olive Garden. Our mom, Roberta Glover, known as “Sis” to her brothers and sister, “Bert” to her numerous life long friends, will be missed terribly and will forever have a place in our hearts. To meet her was to love her. Her beautiful life will be forever cherished.
She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Clark and husband, David; sons, Norman Frank Glover and wife, Crystal, Scott Glover and Tony Glover and wife, Kim; brothers, John Beard and wife, Melody, Walt Facemyer and wife, Geneva, Donny Holmes and wife, Ginger, and Richard Holmes and wife, Anne; sister, Judy Tolbert; 19 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
