Nora Belle Bales, age 76, of Jonesville, Virginia went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 17, 2019 at Holston Valley Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born and raised in Prestonsburg, KY and attended a Pentecostal church growing up. She enjoyed reading, cross word puzzles and bird watching.
She loved the Lord and was truly a sweet and loving mother and grandmother. Her smile would light up a room and her stories timeless.
She is preceded in death by her husband and together they lived an adventurous life.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, whom she was living with for the last 2 years, and their 7 children; along with 2 grown children, a grandson in law, a beautiful great granddaughter and a future daughter in law. She is survived by 3 other daughters, four grandchildren, and a great grandchild.
There will be a private ceremony at Veterans Memorial in Williamstown, KY with the details to be announced at a later date.
