James Robert (Bob) Templeton, 61, of Kingsport, TN, went to his heavenly home on Saturday, January 13, 2018.
Bob was born in Kingsport, TN on September 18th, 1956. He was a member of Sullivan Baptist Church. He was a Computer Analyst for many companies and was very proud of what he did. Bob loved to ride his Harley until he couldn’t anymore and gave it away to a friend. He loved spending time with his best friend, Prissy his dog of 17 years. One of his greatest joys was to help someone. He was a very caring person with a big heart who is loved by many and will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his father, Tommy Templeton; and mother Patsy Archer; stepfather, Carl Archer; brother, Skippy Templeton.
Bob is survived by special friends, Ruth Martin, Brian Morrison, Doris Housewright, Gene and Judy Archer, Sherry Nelms, Leslie Shaver;
Graveside service will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery on January 17th, 2018 at 2pm with Pastor Jeff Strong of Sullivan Baptist Church officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the graveside.
