Goldia Ada Carey, 72, of Kingsport, passed away on Monday May 6, 2019 at her residence with her family by her side. Born in Castelwood, VA, she has been in Kingsport all of her life. She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ and she enjoyed yard sales, spending time with family and her grandchildren.
Goldia is preceded in death by her husband, William Paul Carey; her parents; and her siblings.
She is survived by her son, Terry Carey and wife, Kim, of Kingsport; daughters, Donna Osborne, Michelle Eaton and Melissa Waye, all of Kingsport; grandchildren, Dustin Carey, Kristen Brown, Cody Carey, Aaron Carey, Alisha Toliver, Johnathan Eaton, Zachary Eaton, Andrew Waye, Alex Waye, Colton Looney and Kaitlyn Osborne; several great grandchildren; brother, Virgil Rose and wife, Dyanna, of Kingsport; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home on Thursday May 9, 2019 from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM. The funeral service is to follow with Brother William Gibson officiating. Graveside committal will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 10, 2019 at Mountain Home National Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
