Donna Lynn Morgan, 67, of Kingsport, TN went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Bristol Regional Medical Center after an extended illness. She was a lifelong resident of Kingsport and a graduate of Sullivan Central High School in 1969 and a graduate of Kingsport School of Practical Nursing in 1984. She was a travel nurse for Johns Hopkins University Hospital for 30 years. She loved her family with all of her heart. She loved to walk in the desert, long walks on the beach and watching horror movies with her grandchildren. She also loved to read Stephen King books and she loved an adventure.
Donna is preceded in death by her son, Michael Scott McCann; parents, A.J. Morgan and Betty Jo Robinette Morgan; all of her grandparents; and in laws, Nessie Venoy Harrell and Myrtle Elizabeth Webb Harrell.
She is survived by her best friend and life partner, Lesa Owen; daughters, Kimberly Michelle Miller and Ashley Elizabeth Harrell (both of Kingsport, TN); grandchildren, Damion Scott McCann and Katilyn (Kingsport, TN), Alyssa Lynn McCann (Florida), Matthew James Miller (Kingsport, TN), Steven Joseph Harrell (Kingsport, TN), Emma McCann (Johnson City, TN), Chellie Sheltonn (Kingsport, TN); special sister in law, Dorothy Morgan; and brother, Tony Morgan and wife, Teresa (Johnson City, TN).
The service will be held on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home (1221 Stewball Circle, Kingsport, TN).
