William Raymond Sullivan

William Raymond Sullivan, Sr., 61, of Kingsport, TN, unexpectedly was called home to be with his Heavenly Father on Thursday, February 14, 2019. William, aka Foster (to some) Bill (to most) was a loving, devoted husband and dad. He touched all who came in contact with him and was just a simple, good, honest man. He served honorably in the Navy and worked hard throughout his life. He was a fighter till the end and was always very open and honest. His heart and love was boundless, his humor hysterical and his virtue pure. There will never be another like him and the world lost a truly good man who will be missed and loved by so many forever. He is preceded in death by his loving mother, father, and ten brothers and sisters. He is survived by his soulmate, Cheryl, of 33 years; his two children, William Sullivan, Jr. and Alicia O'Neal and her husband Mark; his sister, Eva "Picker" Stoffel and her husband, Dan; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Visitation will be held at Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 2:00 PM with military honors to follow at 3:00 PM by American Legion Hammond Post #3 and Gate City Post #265.
