William David Nelson, Jr

William David Nelson Jr. (Billy), formally of Kingsport, TN, passed away at his home in Brooklyn, New York on Monday, February 24th, 2020. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, J.B. and Iva Nell Nelson; maternal grandparents, Herman and Grace Burchfield; uncle, Johnny Nelson; and cousin, Delena Lucas. He is survived by his son, Tomah; daughter, Cheyenne, of Wooster, Ohio; parents, William David Nelson Sr. and Ellen Nelson, of Millington, TN; sisters, Regina Simpson and husband Wayne, of Kingsport, TN, Thelma Milano and husband Joe, of New York, and Dee Languedoc and husband Mike, of Millington, TN; aunts, Frances Hogsed and husband Ron, of Johnson City, TN, and Alma Tankersly and husband Garley, of Kingsport, TN; uncle, Howard Nelson; several nieces and nephews; and one great niece, Caroline. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home with services to follow at 1:00 PM with Reverend Ron Hogsed and Reverend Dennis Spears officiating. The burial will follow at Church Hill Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Bobby Ford, Joe Milano, Jeremiah Simpson, Michael Languedoc, Jonathan Leggett and Wayne Simpson.
