Wayne Jackson Harris

Wayne Jackson Harris, 68, of Erwin, TN, passed away on Monday, July 17, 2023.

Wayne was a good man. He would do anything in the world for anybody. Wayne was an outdoors man who loved fishing and hunting. Wayne served our country all over the world, Persian Gulf, Kuwait, Iraq, and Iran. He committed a good portion of his life serving multiple tours during 3 international conflicts. Between active service and time spent with the National Guard, Wayne served the United States of America for 28 years. He loved his son and his grandchildren. He will be loved forever.

Wayne is preceded in death by; his parents, Gurney and Mabel Harris; his brothers, Dannie and Darrell; and his sisters, Joann Honeycutt and Adabelle Harris.

He is remembered and loved by; his wife of 23 years, Judy Harris; his son, Billy Wayne Harris(wife Crystal Harris); his grandchildren, Hunter and Hannah; and his sister, Charlotte Banner.
