Virginia Goff

Virginia June Goff, 74 , of Church Hill, TN, passed away on Tuesday, June 8th, 2021. June was born in 1947 in Mt. Carmel, Tn. After high school she married Tom Goff Sr. and they started a family. June enjoyed being a homemaker and taking care of her children. She taught 3rd grade and home economics for a few years while living in Florida. Her husband and sons work kept the family traveling around the East Cost. June was strong in her faith and beliefs in Jesus her Savior. She always put family first. Every sunday her brothers and the whole family would eat their Sunday meal together and fellowship. He grandchildren were a special delight in her heart. She was a remarkable mother, care giver, wife, and friend to many. She is now dancing in the streets of Heaven with her husband Tom. Though she is in glory we will miss her greatly till we are again united. She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Tom Goff Sr.; parents, William and Faye McCoy; sister, Judy McCoy; brothers, Billy and Jimmy McCoy. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Tom Goff Jr and wife Sandra; daughter, Sherry Hartsell; grandchildren, Tom Goff III and wife Amy, Don Sick Jr and wife Britteny, Garrett Goff and wife Beth, Hannah Scott and husband George, Caleb Sick and wife Colleen; great grandchildren, Kiley, J.T., Lily, Kaylee, A.J., Aubree, Beau, Cain, and one on the way; brothers, Dennis and wife Pam, Kenneth and wife Cindy; sisters, Joyce, and Betty; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Friday June 11th at 1:00 pm at Mountain Home National Cemetery with Pastor Liz Hamilton officiating and eulogies to be provided by the family. Pallbearers will be Tom III, Don Jr, Garrett, Caleb, J.T., A.J., and George. Those wishing to attend please arrive by 12:45.
