Troy S. Kivett

Troy Samuel Kivett, 79, of Kingsport, TN, passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2022. “Steve” was born to Kerney and Ruth Kivett in Fork Ridge, Tennessee. He grew up and married Judy Martin. The couple were married for fifty-six years and had two children. Steve worked as brick layer in the construction industry and often helped his brother who was an architect. Later in life, he worked in vending. In addition to his parents, Steve is preceded in death by his brother, Kerney Kivett, Jr.; sister-in-law, Brenda Kivett; son, Steven Troy Kivett; half-sister, Ruth; niece, Sondra. Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Judy Kivett; daughter, Deborah Ann Pierce; son-in-law, Bobby Pierce; grandchildren, Angel, Brooke, Allen Michael, Bobby Jr; two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Steve Kivett will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at Saint Dominic Catholic Church, 2517 N John B. Dennis Hwy., Kingsport, Tennessee 37660.
