Trina Gay Britt

Trina Gay Britt [Jessee], age 46, passed away around 8:00 a.m. on Monday, September 25th, 2023.
Trina was a very loving mother to three children and dedicated her entire life to ensuring that each of them had the best life possible. Trina was truly a one-of-a-kind individual. She was a kind-hearted and loving person that would give the shirt off of her back to help someone, regardless of what it meant for her. She loved life and loved her family more, but unfortunately, she started becoming very ill. As time went on, the battles just intensified. In the end, she gave these struggles the hardest fight that one could give, but the Lord had ultimately decided that a new body was just what she needed and wanted her to come and spend eternity with Him and with her husband, whom she missed so dearly, in the eternal presence of the Lord. She will be so, so deeply missed.
Trina was a faithful wife of 25 years to Paul Britt, Jr., who also went peacefully to be with the Lord on December 10th, 2018. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her grandparents and her mother, Judy Jessee, and her aunt, Susan Moore.
Trina is survived by her three sons and her new daughter-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. Austin Britt (Knoxville, TN), Colby Britt (Kingsport, TN), and Caden Britt (Kingsport, TN); Father, Edgar (Linzy) Jessee. (Kingsport, TN); Grandchildren, Zyler Britt (Kingsport, TN); Gracalynn Cline (Knoxville, TN); Makiah Britt (Knoxville, TN); Kinzleigh Britt (Knoxville, TN); Alana Britt (Kingsport, TN); and Leland Britt (Knoxville, TN); Brother, Jeff Jessee (Kingsport, TN); Aunt, Annie Jessee (Kingsport, TN); Cousins, Theresa Crawford (Kingsport, TN); Tylie Eaves (Kingsport, TN); and several other cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. with a service to follow, led by Brother Johnny Gibson of Way of Life Baptist Church on Wednesday, October 4th 2023, at Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home, 1221 Stewball Circle, Kingsport, TN.
