Tony Ray Cross

Tony Ray Cross, 63, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2019 at the VA Hospital after a courageous battle. Tony was born in Bristol, VA in 1955. He joined the Army before finishing High School where he proudly served his country. He has no known survivors or family so we are asking the public to help us honor this unaccompanied Veteran as he is laid to rest at the Mountain Home VA National Cemetery in Johnson City, TN on Tuesday August 27th at 1:45 in the old section. Military rites provided by American Legion Hammonds Post 3 / Gate City 265 who go above and beyond to provide these services at no cost to Veterans families and to make sure that no Veteran is left behind.
