Toby Russell Silvers

Toby R. Silvers, aged 48, of Kingsport, TN, and formerly of Johnson City, TN, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2024.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Silvers; his grandmothers, Phyllis Russell Boozer, and Joyce Silvers; as well as several uncles and aunts.

Toby was a lifelong construction worker, having worked in both Tennessee and Florida.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Shanequa Lachez; his son, Dominic Maurice Payne; grandchildren, Malic Blaise Silvers, Izaiah D'Angelo Miller, Osiris Langston, and Amiyah and Miliana Payne. His brothers, William Trevon Boozer, Devante Lamar Boozer, Tony "Budham" Swann, and Patrick Teasley; father, William A. Boozer; his uncles, Oscar E. Boozer, Howard Boozer, David Silvers, and Buck Silvers; his favorite friend and cousin, Amanda Silvers; his niece, Antonia Isla; his nephew, Jordan Swann; his long-time friends, Rebecca Palmer and Donnell Hill; as well as a host of cousins, uncles, and other extended family members.

A Memorial Service to Honor Toby will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 12:30 p.m., at Shades of Grace United Methodist Church, 313 E. Sullivan St., Kingsport, TN 37660.
