Tina Marie Ball

Tina Marie Ball, 56, peacefully passed away on Sunday (November 16, 2014) surrounded by her loving family. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her pets, gardening, cooking, singing, and dancing. She thoroughly enjoyed life and will be missed by many. She was graduate of Lynn View High School, Class of 1976, where she enjoyed cheer-leading, playing basketball, and being an avid swimmer. She was preceded in death by her father, Don Jessee; her childrens father, Howard Wayne Garland, Jr.; aunt, Doris Burton; and close friend, Thelma Louise Fletcher; She is survived by her children, Josh Burton of South Boston, Va., Casey and wife Ginger Garland of Kingsport, Jamie Garland and fiance Kaley Mee of Church Hill; two grandchildren, Noah and Lennox Garland; mother, Jean and husband John Centner of Kingsport; brother, Winston Moss of South Boston; special friend, Dennis Ball; close friends, Chris Bays, Harold Larkins, and Sherry Lane. The family will receive friends on Thursday (November 20, 2014) from 12 to 2 p.m at Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home. The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. with Pastor Jonathan Bear officiating. A graveside service will be conducted following the funeral service at Old Kingsport Presbyterian Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to P.O.
