Timothy Allan Rice

Timothy "Timmy" Allan Rice, 58, of Kingsport, TN, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024.

A loving husband, father, and grandfather, Timmy's heart was always with his family. He was a devoted provider who found immense joy in spending time with those he loved most. His adoration for his baby Damian was unmatched, and he held his grandchildren close to his heart.

Timmy's passions in life were as bold and vibrant as his spirit. He loved working on hot rod cars, pouring his skill and creativity into every project. Riding his motorcycle brought him a sense of freedom and joy that mirrored his adventurous personality. To his family and friends, Timmy was a man of strength, heart, and unwavering support.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Wayne Rice; and his three brothers, Troy Rice, Ricky Rice, and Bobby Rice.

Those left to honor and cherish Timmy's memory include his loving wife of nearly 31 years, Amy Rice; his children, Bobby Rice, Cassey Rice, Timothy Rice, and Brittany Self; his mother, Peggy Rice; his siblings, Pete Rice, Jimmy Rice, Donna Milhorn, Sarah Rice, Patricia Graham, and SueAnne Rice; his six beloved grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held within the first or second week of January, at Tabernacle Baptist Church. The family invites those who wish to attend to stay in touch for further details regarding the service.
