Timothy James Peters, 66, of Kingsport, TN, went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 18, 2024.

Timothy was an avid outdoorsman who found joy in fishing and hunting. He cherished time spent with his beloved dog, Amy, and was a man of strong Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Helen Peters; and two brothers, Billy Jack Smith and Terry Ellis.

He leaves behind his sister, Debbie Wheat, and her husband Ricky (Pappy); son, Dustin Caldwell, and wife Kristen; grandchildren, Alana and Silas Caldwell; brother, Ronnie Peters and wife Debbie; niece, Jill Luster; nephews, Todd Ellis, wife, Mary and son, Josh Ellis, Kenneth (Turtle) Scalf, Jack Smith, Shannon and Shane Peters; a special great-niece, Sierra (Little Trap) Scalf; and his long-time friend, Terry (Cobb) Bulla.

Memorial services to honor Timothy's life will be held on Saturday, November 2nd, 2024, at River of Life Baptist Church (823 N Austin Springs Rd, Piney Flats, TN 37686) at 5 p.m.
