Thomas Graeme Stewart

Thomas Graeme Stewart, 83, of Kingsport, TN. sadly passed away July,14 2024 at Holston Valley Medical Center.

Thomas was known by Graeme to most his family and friends. Graeme was born in Aurora, IL on December 6th, 1940.

He always put family first. He grew up on a farm in Plainfield, IL. Graeme attended schools in Oswego, IL. He always loved the country atmosphere; farming was in his heart. In his late teens, Graeme won numerous awards for plowing contests in Big Rock and Wheatland IL, just like his father. He loved and collected model tractors. He always enjoyed helping others, and there was no end to what he could fix. Graeme retired in 1994 from Caterpillar as a welder. He was married to his loving wife, Linda for 61 years and they had 2 children, 5 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. No matter how hard times were through out the years, he always found a way to make it work.

Thomas Graeme is survived by his wife, Linda Lee Stewart "Koehler"; sisters, Heather Hough "Stewart" (Gerald) and Sara Stewart; daughter-in-law, Candie L Stewart ''Mueller"; brother-in-laws, Frank Terry Koehler (Judi) and Dennis Alan Koehler (Tina); and sister-in-law, Debora Ann Delany "Koehler" (Tom).

He is preceded in death by son, Gregory S Stewart; daughter, Janice L Stewart; parents, Thomas Graeme and Margaret Stewart; sister, Anne Stewart; and numerous Aunts and Uncles.

Services will be held Friday, July 19, 2024 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm (EST)
at Trinity Memorial Centers, 1221 Stewball Circle Kingsport, TN, 37660.
