Terry Jean Presley

Terry J. Presley, 70, of Kingsport, TN, passed away peacefully at home after a brief illness on Friday, March 7th, 2025, surrounded by family.

She was born on November 12, 1954, in Kingsport, TN, the daughter of Jim Byers and Edith Housewright.

Terry will always be remembered as an incredibly loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law, and wife. She will be remembered for filming homemade videos of her grandchildren, whom she would describe as her world. She was a die-hard Tennessee Volunteer fan and was ready to cheer the team to victory every Saturday.

Terry is preceded in death by both parents, sister Linda Greer, niece Lisa Harrell, husband Otis Presley, son Robert Tribble, and brother Raymond Cavin.

She is survived by her son, Joe Tribble; daughter-in-law, Cristi; and stepdaughter, Ashley Light. Her grandchildren, Zackery Lamb of Kingsport, TN; Nick Tribble of Gainesville, GA; Hayley Dennis (Sam) of Bristol, TN; Hunter Tribble of Kingsport, TN; Tanner Tribble of Kingsport, TN; Alex Light of Rogersville, TN; Madison Tribble (Steven) of Anderson, SC; Sierra Light of Kingsport, TN; Ethan Tribble of Kingsport, TN; Tyler Tribble of Kingsport, TN; Keegan Light of Rogersville, TN; and her great-grandchildren, Khloe Lamb of Rogersville, TN; Paisley Tribble of Anderson, SC; Bristol Dennis of Bristol, TN; and Preston Toth of Anderson, SC.

The family will host a Celebration of Life at New Fellowship Ministries in Church Hill, TN, from 5 pm to 7 pm on Friday, March 14, 2025. The address is 614 Old Stage Rd. Church Hill, TN.
