Terry Lynne Patrick

Terry Lynne (Propest) Patrick, 54, of Kingsport, TN, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 14th, 2024, at Holston Valley Medical Center.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Ralph Eugene Propest and Patsy Sue Propest; her beloved husband of 15 years, Bobby Glenn Patrick; her cherished friend, Georgia Ann Spicer; and her special niece, Chelsea Dockery.
Terry leaves behind her daughters, Jasmine Patrick and Amber Patrick, along with Amber's fiancé, Daniel Rhymer. She is also survived by her sisters, Traci Pierson and Vicki Sexton, and Vicki's husband, Mark Sexton. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Cody Duncan, Hudson McKnight, and Annabelle Vanderpool, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Born in 1970 in Kingsport, TN, and raised in Gate City, VA, Terry was a beacon of joy and humor. Known for her infectious laughter and quick wit, she had a unique gift for making everyone around her smile. She loved to crochet and was known for her extraordinary generosity, often giving selflessly to anyone in need. Her caring nature shone brightly in her work as a CNA.
Terry was not just a devoted mother; she was a mother-figure to many, welcoming her children's friends into her heart and home. She had a particular fondness for Diet Pepsi, and cherished every moment with her children and grandchildren.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, May 18th, at Trinity Memorial from 12:00 to 1:00 pm, with a funeral service following, officiated by Evangelist Mark Sexton. The graveside service will be at Hartsock Cemetery (Little Duck Road, Nickelsville, Virginia) after the funeral. Pallbearers will include Jasmine Patrick, Daniel Rhymer, Anthony Sexton, Bryson Sexton, Corey Gillenwater, and Evan Parker.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Orchard View and Holston Valley for their compassionate care.
