Teresa Gale Barrett

Teresa Gale Barrett, 48, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2017. She was born October 15th, 1968 , the daughter of the late Thurman Barrett and Linda Sue Chase Mowdy. She lived all of her life in the Kingsport area. She was a dedicated mother to her two children. She is survived by daughter; Rashia Barrett and special friend Oshea Wimbish of Kingsport, son; Walter Jones of Kingsport, Step- father; Danny Mowdy, two sisters; Lisa Sutherland and husband Tim of Kingsport and Tona Branham and husband Tony of Kingsport, two brothers; Phil Mowdy and wife Sherri of Bristol and Travis Mowdy and wife LeeAnn of Kingsport, several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Sunday June 11, 2017 at Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. June 12, 2017 at the funeral home with Daniel Sutherland officiating. The committal and burial will follow in the East Tennessee Cemetery in Blountville, Tennessee.
