Teresa Faye Begley

Teresa Faye Begley, 69, of Church Hill, TN, peacefully went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 20th, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Kingsport, TN, Teresa was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a cherished grandmother who delighted in spoiling her grandchildren. She had a warm and generous spirit, always welcoming family and friends with her wonderful cooking and the joy of gathering together. Teresa's kind and caring heart was rooted in her deep faith and love for the Lord.

She found comfort in crossword puzzles and enjoyed watching her favorite shows, Criminal Minds and Blue Bloods. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

The qualities of a virtuous woman, as described in Proverbs 31:10-31, were a reflection of the life Teresa lived.

Teresa was preceded in death by her loving husband of 33 years, Hubert "Junior" Begley Jr.; son, Aaron Gibson; her parents, Walker and Dorothy Necessary; and several brothers and sisters.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Deanna Farris (husband and honorary son, Robert Farris) and Louise Gibson; her sons, Ricky Begley (fiancée Amy Maynor), Michael Begley, and Jeffrey Begley; along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends.

A funeral service to honor her life will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 23, 2024, at Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ (131 Prospect Church Road, Gate City, VA), with Rev. Cecil Necessary officiating. Graveside will follow at Church Hill Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Robert Farris, Ricky Begley, Taylor Begley, Taylor Farris, Logan Farris, and Richard Begley.
