Tammy Kay Crigger

October 29, 1962 — June 23, 2016

Tammy Kay Crigger, 53, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 23, 2016. Tammy was born in Kingsport, TN and was a graduate of Sullivan South High School. She had a wonderful childhood with her sisters. She married later in life and had a son, Timmy, whom she treasured more than anything in this world. Tammy enjoyed the outdoors such as camping, fishing, and sight seeing. Tammy was a dietary cook for Holston Manor for 13 years. She had a servants heart and enjoyed her work and her colleagues. Tammy was loved by everyone she met and had a way of bringing a smile to all, no matter the circumstances. She was a wonderful mother, sister and friend and she will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lanis and Ellen Bernard; sisters, Kathy Light and Ellen Marie; brother, Rex Allen; grandparents, Jasper and Ada Hale. She is survived by her son, Timmy and wife Debbie Crigger; sisters, Vickie and husband David Krug and Connie and husband Edward Lyons; and several nephews and nieces. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 from 6pm - 7pm at Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will follow at 7pm with Pastor Mike Anglin officiating. Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at 11am at Morrison Cemetery in Rogersville, TN (Beech Creek). Pallbearers will be Travis Bernard, Justin Bernard, Chris Light and Jonathan Lyons. Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home (423-723-8177) is honored to serve the family.
