Stolearm Nels Anderson

Stolearm "Stovey" Nels Anderson Jr, 72, of Kingsport, Tennessee passed away in his home on October 22, 2023, with his family by his side. He was born August 25, 1951 in Wise County, Va to the late Stolearm and Mary Anderson.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Fred Anderson and Stoney Anderson; and his sisters, Della Anderson and Faye Caudill.

Stovey leaves behind his wife of 36 years, Tina Anderson; his children, Amanda (Katherine) Young, Alana Anderson, Stolearm (BJ) "Nelson" Anderson lll, Tina Taylor, Francis Stidham, Sherri Anderson, Steven Anderson, Buddy (Amber) Anderson, David (Stephanie) Barnette, Macie (Kevin) Malone, Kimberly (Adam) Casey, and Timothy Anderson; his sisters, Lesia Anderson Ellis, Toledo Fish, Stella Miller, Dollene Hamilton, Violet (Verlin) Martin; his brothers, Holly Anderson, and Rocky Anderson; several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; included with those left to cherish his memory are, Jonathan "Keegan" Cravens, Stolearm "Nels" Anderson IV and Greyson Maddox. They were with their papaw until the very end. Stovey had many special buddies including, Roy Messer, Linda & Jim Hill, and Bo (Peanut) Clark.

The family will be Celebrating Stolearm's life on November 11th, at Victory Tabernacle Pentecostal Church, located at 459 Old Beason Well Rd, Kingsport, TN 37660. They will receive family and friends from 2-3pm with services to follow directly after. Following services, Stovey will be brought home on a special ride on his motorcycle by Nelson and Roy.
