Steven Todd Skeens

Steven "Piedmont" Todd Skeens, 54, of Kingsport, TN, passed away Wednesday, June 12th, 2024.
Born in Grundy, Virginia, Steven was known for his hardworking nature and dedication to his family. As a long haul truck driver, he took great pride in his profession. Steven was a man who never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand, no matter the situation. His kind heart and generous spirit touched many lives, and he was dearly loved by those who knew him.
Steven is predeceased by his parents, Ruby and Paul Skeens. He is survived by his sons, Steven and Brandon Skeens; daughter, Allie Skeens, and her wife, Kennedi Skeens; honorary daughter, Amber Parks; brothers, Randy and Anthony Skeens; sister, Eva Davis; honorary sister, Charleen Jones; the mother of his children, Angie Skeens Griffaw; ten nieces and seven nephews; and former mother and father-in-law, Barbary and Jim Barnett.
Visitation for friends and family will be held at Trinity Memorial on Monday, June 17th, 2024, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
