Stephen Patrick Chastain

Stephen Patrick Chastain, 22, went to be with the Lord on Friday (July 4, 2014) unexpectedly. He was a neighborhood mechanic and a graduate of Dobyns Bennett High School Class of 2010. He was previously employed by Vic Davis Construction and worked part-time for Fuller Paving. He loved motorcycles, Hotrods, and life in general. He was loved by everyone that knew him. He will be deeply missed. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Thomas E Alexander and paternal grandfather Conrad Carty. He is survived by his loving parents Maryann and David Chastain of the home; three siblings, sister Melissa Krajeck, brother David Chastain, Jr., Dakota Walsh and wife Jessica; honorary brother Elijah Walsh; maternal grandparents, Catherine and Mike Whitfield; paternal grandmother, Mary I. Chastain; a host of close relatives and friends. Services will be conducted Thursday (July 10, 2014) at Trinity Memorial Centers from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral services to follow with Dr. Cecil Sturgill officiating and special speaker Joe Robinette. The committal service will be conducted on Friday (July 11, 2014) at 1 p.m. at the Fordtown Baptist Church cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
