Sidney “Bug” Gilman Jr.

Mr. Sidney Carr "Bug" Gilman, Jr. , age 64, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Monday January 6, 2014. He was born in Sullivan County and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his father, Sidney Gilman, Sr.; two brothers, David Gilman and Mike Meade. Surviving are his mother, Pearline Meade of Kingsport; one daughter, Amanda Gilman of Kingsport; two sons, Derrick Gilman and Dewayne Gilman both of Kingsport; sisters, Deborah Secker, Carolyn Woods and husband Scotty Woods, Pam Lane, and Teresa Meade; one brother, Jeff Meade; grandchildren, Nicholas Hall, Jeremiah Gilman, Joshua Hall, Hailey Gilman, Olivia Morua, Cameron Gilman, Adrienah Gilman, Kyran Gilman, and one unborn; the mother of his children, Jackie; step-daughter, Michelle Morua; two nieces, Kyllie and Kattie; and two nephews, Kolton and Gavin. A memorial service in celebration of his life will be conducted at 2:00pm on Thursday January 9, 2014 at Tabernacle Baptist Church with Pastor Cecil Sturgill officiating.
