Shirley Myrtle Harr Robinson

Shirley Myrtle Harr Robinson, 80, was called home to be with her Lord on Monday, January 18, 2016. She was a lifelong resident of Church Hill, TN. Shirley lived a full life with lots of love for children. She would often entertain her children, their friends, and neighbors kids. Shirley's grandchildren, however, were her greatest joy. Her hobbies included quilting and gardening. Her heart was filled with a giving spirit. She always helped those around her who had a need, whether it was food, clothing, or other items. While visiting the cancer center for her treatments, she donated 20 wheelchairs to help other patients. She was one of a kind and a loving mother to all. She will be missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carson and Hattie Wix; her loving husband, Jim Robinson; and her daughter, Denise Carpenter. She is survived by her sons, James and wife, Regina Harr and Frank Harr; daughters, Nelly Harr, Diana and husband, Todd Jayne and Sue and husband, Frankie Cordle; Henry Harr; seventeen grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren. Services will be Saturday, May 07, 2016 at 3PM at Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home's main location (1221 Stewball Circle, Kingsport, TN).
