Shirley Mowdy, 81, of Kingsport, TN, passed away on December 19th, 2024 at Holston Valley Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bige and Bessie Mae Mowdy; along with five brothers and five sisters.
She is survived by one brother; a special sister-in-law, Fonda Mowdy; several nieces and nephews.
At Shirley's request there will be a closed casket graveside service at Pactolus United Methodist Church Cemetery with Pastor Donnie Ford officiating on Saturday, December 28th, 2024 at 1:00 pm. Friends and family are asked to meet at the graveside.
