Sherry Cookenour

Sherry Lynn Cookenour, 64, of Kingsport, TN, was reunited with her mom and dad in heaven on Thursday, January 6, 2022. Sherry was a lifelong resident of Sullivan County and was of the Pentecostal faith. She was a former employee of Brock Services in Eastman Chemical Company. She was a creature of habit and did not like change, her personality reflected that. She had a heart of gold and enormous care for others. She was willing to give the shirt off her back to anyone in need. She was preceded by both parents, JC Cookenour and Betty Jo Spears Cookenour; sister, Janet Phifer; and nephew, Ricky Neeley Left to cherish her memories are her sisters, Tammie Johnson, Terri Neeley, Jodie Blazier, and Kim Lane; brother, Tony Cookenour; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews Memorial Service will be held on Monday, January 10th, 2022 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Trinity Memorial Centers 1221 Stewball Circle Kingsport, TN 37660.
