Sarah Louise Hunt

Sarah Louise Hunt, 79, of Kingsport, TN, passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2023.
Born to Jim and Emily McCann in Virginia, Sarah spent most of her life in Kingsport, TN. She raised three children, Billy, Jeff and Leslie. Sarah was a ground breaker as one of the first female electricians, and the only one who worked at Meade Paper, later becoming Domtar. In addition to her family, Sarah loved her cat, Kilo.
Along with her parents, Sarah is preceded in death by her daughter, Leslie Martin; granddaughter, Madison Martin.
Sarah Lou is survived by her loving sons, Billy Hensley (Angela); Jeff Hensley (Barbara); grandchildren, Brittany Milburn (Jeff), Cortni Smith (Josh), Brandi Mayronne, Vanessa Hensley, Johnathon Hensley, Isaiah Bozarth, Zach Stanley; several great-grandchildren, sisters, Janice Archer, Dee Bledsoe; brothers, Mike McCann, Jerry McCann.
The family will receive friends from 6 PM to 7 PM on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, with a funeral service to follow at 7 PM, at Trinity Memorial Centers, 1221 Stewball Circle, Kingsport, Tennessee. Pastor Billy Hensley and Brother Tony Hobbs will be officiating.
