Sandy Diline Short

"If you suffer with me, ye also shall reign with me" (2 Timothy 2:12) Sandy Diline Short, 53, of Mount Carmel, left this life unexpectedly Wednesday (January 7, 2015). She was a born again Christian, of the Baptist faith. Sandy had a great sense of humor and a strong temper. She enjoyed spending her time at the beach, reading, listening to gospel music, and spending time with her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Mary Roberts; step-father, Kenneth Stone; and brother, Roy Roberts. Sandy leaves behind the love of her life, her husband of 38 years, Ronnie Short of the residence; the most special person in her life, her loving daughter, Jennifer Short, whom she loved dearly; three brothers, Dexter Roberts of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Roger Roberts, of Naples, Fl., and Gary Roberts of Kingsport; sister-in-law, Kathy and husband Ivan Bowen; brother-in-law, Mike Short; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at Mt. Zion Church (515 Mount Zion Rd Church Hill, Tn.) on Monday (January 12, 2015) at 7 p.m. with Minister Randy Calton officiating.
