Sandra Mariea Warrick

Sandra "Sandy" Mariea Warrick, 74, a cherished resident of Kingsport, TN, peacefully passed away on Monday, February 12th, 2024, into the embrace of her Lord.

Born in Kingsport in 1945, Sandy was a proud graduate of Dobyns-Bennett High School at the early age of 16. She applied for and ultimately wanted to work at Eastman however due to her age she worked elsewhere until she turned 18.
She then embarked on a fulfilling career at Eastman Chemical, where she excelled as a systems analyst until her retirement.

Sandy's devotion extended beyond her professional life; she was a loving mother who devoted herself to the care and well-being of her children and grandchildren. An avid reader with a passion to play the crossword lottery tickets, Sandy found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Family was important to her, she stayed in touch with everyone and enjoyed being in their lives.

With a sharp wit and a definite way with words, Sandy was known for her clever humor and smart remarks. She cherished moments spent walking to the store with her grandson and cheering on her grandson's basketball games. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and she took immense pride in their accomplishments.

In addition to her parents, Alma Kincaid Cassidy and Robert Cassidy; Sandy is reunited in peace with her brother, Robert Cassidy, sister, Vicki Mullins, and son, Josh Warrick.

Forever treasuring her memory are her daughter, Sarah Warrick; grandsons, Ethan Warrick, Kaden Warrick, Shaine Scales, Draven Matthews; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Phoenix, and Dakota; as well as her sisters, Barbara Grills, Rebecca Waldo, Kathy Varner, Margaret Messick, and Eva Wright.

Celebration of Life to be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, February 16th, at Central Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor may be made to Central Baptist Church Food Bank.
