Sandra Mae Queen, 73, of Blountville, TN, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 6th, 2019 at Bristol Regional Medical Center after a courageous battle. Born in Omaha, Nebraska moving to Blountville in 2013. She was retired as a hotel manager. She was of the Methodist Faith. She was an avid animal lover and took pride in her horses. She loved her family dearly and won awards for Barrel Racing and her showmanship. She is preceded in death by her parents, Etta Mae and Warren Randolph Pool. She is survived by her husband of 7 years, John Queen; children, Alice Wetzell of Mt Sterling, KY, Deborah Jackson (Daniel) of Blountville, TN, Scott Mann (Ruth) of Tucson, Arizona; grandchildren, Andrew Means, Nathan Means (Selena), Trevor Jackson, Nicholas Jackson, Emylee Mann, Charles Mann, and Arika Mann; great grandchildren, Bella Means, Kelssie Alverez, Kory Alverez; special honor to the boys she raised, Chris Moore, Shaun Moore, and their families. There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, August 17, 2019. Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home (423-723-8177) is honored to serve the Queen family.
