Sandra Kay Bailey

Sandra (Sandi) Kay Taylor Bailey age 74, passed away at her home on February 24th after an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years Glen Stacey Bailey, parents Clyde and Mary Taylor and her brother Robert Taylor. She is survived by her son and daughter in law Chris and Wendy Bailey, her granddaughter Lorelai Bailey whom she called "Pumpkin" and "my little sunshine", her daughter Staci Bailey, her loving sister and brother in law, Karen and Jim Edwards, sister in law Mildred Taylor, sister in law Pauline Case, her" Bachelor " and "Dancing with the Stars " childhood best friend and 1st cousin Barbara Heffner and many special nieces and nephews. Barbara was also a constant help through thick and thin for the family. Sandi was born in Kingsport TN and lived most of her life in Church Hill, TN. She was a graduate of Dobyns Bennett High School. She retired from WalMart after over 20 years of service. She was a loving mother, sister and an especially loving "Mammaw" which was the most joyous thing in her life for the past 9 years. Sandy and Lorelai loved making Snapchat pictures and videos. They were the best of buddies. Sandi's wishes were to be cremated and her ashes will be placed alongside her husbands. A celebration of life will be held at a later date in an as yet undetermined location. Sandi requested that donations could be sent to St. Jude's Children Hospital if so desired.
