Samantha Hammett, 20, of Johnson City, TN, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 15, 2024.
Born in Johnson City, Tennessee, Samantha had a servant's heart and loved working as a CNA at Ivy Hall, where she cared for her residents like family. She was outgoing, full of life, and had a deep passion for rock music. Known for her heart of gold, she was an angel on earth, always caring and compassionate. Samantha adored her dogs, Bear and Duke, and was a proud graduate of Happy Valley High School, Class of 2022. A great friend to many, she cherished her family and left a lasting impact on everyone she met. Her absence will be deeply felt by her numerous friends and loved ones.
Samantha was predeceased by her grandmothers, Nancy and Nyoka, and her grandfather, James.
She is survived by her parents, Jason and Heather Hammett, and Nikki Shell; her aunts, Melanie and her husband Mason Baker, and Dewanan Brooks; grandfathers, Scott McInturff and Albert Hall; along with several great aunts, uncles, and cousins. She also leaves behind her brothers, Ricky and Zachary Shell, Gage and Gunner Davis, and many other cherished loved ones and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 21, at Trinity Memorial from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, followed by a service officiated by Pastor Randy English.
