RoseMary Ruth “Sissie” Adkins, 49, of Chuckey, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 22, 2019 at Johnson City Medical Center surrounded by her loved ones after her battle with cancer.
“Sissie” was born on July 4,1970 in Dearborn, Michigan.
She left behind many loved ones, her father, James “Wally” Adkins; her fiance (husband) of almost 20 years, Lynn Bruce Koch; her daughter, MaryFrances Louise Kessler and husband Billy Joe “BJ” Kessler; her son, Joseph William Robert Adkins, all of Chuckey; two step-sons that she helped raise Christopher Lynn Koch and girlfriend Harley, and Jacob Skyler Koch of Greeneville; her grandchildren, Kailey Faith Adkins, Abigail Grace Kessler, Isaiah Eugene Kessler, and Izzabella Marie Kessler; two special little ones that called her mamaw also, Ryleigh Bailey and Myron Bailey; her sister, Elizabeth Hyatt of Kingsport; her three brothers, James Adkins and wife Karen of Kingsport, Joseph Adkins and wife Cathy of Kingsport, and Pettie Adkins of Chuckey; her nephew, Robert “Bobby” Adkins and wife Melissa “Missy” of Kingsport; her nieces, Victoria “Vickie” Adkins, Brooke Adkins, Angelina “Angel” Hyatt, and Amber Adkins all of Kingsport; one special great niece, Kaitlin Adkins; seven great nieces; five great nephews; and one great great nephew; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and a few special friends, Kim Bailey, Kim Harrison, Brandy Dean, Ali Moore, and Tracy Jackson; and a few others left behind to cherish her memory.
RoseMary Ruth “Sissie” Adkins is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Clydie “Peggy” Adkins; her fiance’s mother(Mother-in-law) Geraldine Depew; also her grandparents and some aunts, uncles, and cousins that watch over all of us left behind. She will be dearly missed by everyone that knew her.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 23, 2019 at Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. The service will follow at 2:00 PM and graveside will be held at 3:00 PM at Providence Cemetery in Limestone, TN. Reverend Roy Brickey officiating.
