Rosemary Decirce

Rosemary Ann (Stowell) DeCirce May 20, 1950-March 20, 2022 "Sometimes you have to let go of the picture of what you thought it would be like, and learn to find the joy in the story you are actually living" -Rachel Marie Martin Rosemary was born in Governeur, N.Y. She attended K-12 at Clifton Fine Central School in Star Lake, NY, and graduated in 1968. She later graduated from Monroe Community College in Rochester, NY, and became a Registered Nurse. She touched countless lives with her dedication and compassion throughout her long nursing career. She is also thanked and credited with providing loving end-of-life care for many of her family members and friends. Rosemary was known for her many talents and creativity. She enjoyed baking, sewing, knitting, gardening, and working with stained glass, and she especially loved spending time with her great-grandchildren. Rosemary was proud of her family, and all of their achievements. Rosemary most recently moved to Kingsport, Tennessee in pursuit of happiness with her fianc, Bill Johnston. She wanted to enjoy the seasons and the mountain views. Rosemary was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to those who loved her. She is predeceased by her father, Wallace Stowell, and her mother, Janina Tuderek. She is survived by her sisters, Lena Pomerville (Victor) of Plattsburgh, NY, and Barbara Deal (Barry) of Oklahoma City, OK, her daughter, Ellen Golden of Zephyrhills FL, and her son, Stephen Golden III (LaDonna) of Tampa, FL. She also leaves behind her granddaughters Sandra Golden, Kathryn Ingalls, and Jessica Golden, and her great-grandchildren, Jenna Golden, Zachary Golden, Nicholas Golden, and Cayley Golden, as well as several cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends. A burial service for Rosemary will be held in July at the Port Douglas Cemetery, 1479 Highland Road, Keeseville NY 12944. Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home (423-723-8177) is honored to serve the DeCirce family.
