Ronald Charles Cakora

Ronald (Ron) Charles Cakora, a cherished husband, devoted father, and esteemed member of the community, passed away on February 9, 2024, at the age of 82. Born on August 1, 1941, Ron's life was marked by unwavering dedication to his family, country, and community. He leaves behind a legacy of love, honor, and service that will be remembered by all who knew him.

Ron is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Wanda Cakora, with whom he shared a life filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories. He was a guiding light and hero to his children, Matthew, Chuck, John, and Stephanie, teaching them the values of integrity, respect, and compassion through his own actions every day. Ron's passing is deeply felt by his family, who take comfort in the countless memories they shared together.

A proud veteran, Ron served his country with distinction in the United States Army before embarking on a distinguished career with the Tampa Police Department from which he retired after many years of dedicated service. His commitment to making a difference in the lives of others, whether through his military service or protecting the community as a police officer, was a testament to his strong character and unwavering moral compass.

Ron was a valued member of his community, known for his kindness, generosity, and willingness to lend a hand to anyone in need.

As we bid farewell to Ron, we celebrate a life well-lived. We find comfort in knowing that his legacy will continue through the lives of those he touched. He will be greatly missed, but his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
