Roger Coy Bentley

Roger Coy Bentley, 58, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Holston Valley Medical Center. Roger was born in Big Stone Gap, VA and lived the majority of his life in Kingsport, TN. He was a kind, loving, hard-working man. As a husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, he took pride and joy in spending time with his family and loved ones. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Louise Jones; his father, Robert Haskell Bentley; his sister, Freida Ann Russell; and brother-in-law, Clifford James Russell. He is survived by his loving wife, Wanda Bentley; son, Brandon Bentley; daughter, Joni Bentley; three grandchildren, Noah, Spencer-Lee, and Makenzie; three sisters, Sherri, Sondra, and Mary; one brother, Darrell; several nieces and nephews; and many close friends. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home.
