Rochella Ann Grubb Myrtle Beach, SC Mrs. Rochella (Rochie) Ann Grubb, 77 of Myrtle Beach, SC, formerly of Wytheville, VA, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2014. Mrs. Grubb was predeceased by her late Husband, Ollen Tillman Grubb and was the daughter of the late Elmer Oral and Gladys Brinkley Huff of Wytheville; and the late Guy and Marie Anderson of Baltimore MD. Mrs. Grubb is survived by her children; GT Grubb and wife Laurie; and Sherrie Yates of Myrtle Beach, SC; Barbara Hardin of Wytheville; Karen McFarland and late husband John McFarland of Newport News, VA; Sharon Celozzi and husband Dominic of Marion, VA; Debra Martin and husband Steve of Wytheville. Mrs. Grubb is survived by 12 Grandchildren; Veronica, Garrett & Joseph Grubb and Adrianna Edwards of Myrtle Beach. Tracey Crigger and husband Steven of Rural Retreat, VA. Krystal Austin and husband Clint of Dublin, VA. Keith Celozzi and fianc Amanda of WV; Dominic J. Celozzi and wife Emily of Hillsville, VA. Wayne Shumate of Dublin, VA. William Shumate and wife Christine of Crockett, VA. Seth Martin and wife Mary of Rexburg, ID. Angela Martin Keller and husband James of Nokesville, VA. And 16 Great Grandchildren. Rochella was the owner of the family restaurant Grubb Steakhouse, in Wytheville, VA and was also later employed by K&W Cafeteria of Myrtle Beach and Tomlinson's Warehouse of Surfside Beach, SC. She took pride in working with the public and enjoyed meeting new people. She was a longtime member of Rural Retreat Baptist Church and always felt that her calling was to uplift and encourage others. She did this by writing many cards and letters throughout the years. She enjoyed reading, walking the beach and growing flowers and plants, especially roses. On behalf of her family, we send our upmost respect and gratitude to the staff of Georgetown Healthcare and Rehabilitation as well as the staff and volunteers of Tideland's Hospice House, of Georgetown, SC; for the wonderful, loving and supportive care provided Mrs. Grubb and her family. Special thanks to Pastor Will Shewey, a dear longtime friend, for his courage, love and support. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Virginia, and she will be laid to rest in Cripple Creek, VA, as weather permits. Details will be published at that time.
