Robert Steven Condry

Robert Steven "Steve" Condry, 73, of Kingsport, TN, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024.

Many people may recognize Steve from The Stateline Bar and Grill, where he and his wife ran the restaurant and bar for 30 years. Steve had a green thumb, he loved growing roses in his garden and for others. He genuinely loved people and would help anyone in need. Steve would regularly take others to work and find ways to help them when they found themselves in bad situations. He was truly selfless. Steve made friends everywhere, he knew everyone. Everyone. He adored his family, but missed his siblings a lot. He is reunited with them now.

Steve is preceded by his parents, Robert and Nadine Condry; grandson, Jackson Arnold; son in law, Christopher Hutson; sisters, Betty Grogg, Sue Condry, Kathy Condry, Phyllis Condry, Genevieve Condry, and Vickie Condry; brothers, Curt Condry, Bob Condry, Jerry Condry, and Jack Condry; sister in law, Loretta Blevins; nephews, Stacy Larkins, Tony White, Jeremy Ashmore, Nathan Morelock, and Terry Frost Jr; nieces, Robin Condry, Wendy Condry, Beverely "Dee" Davis, Jackie Collins, and Sissy Condry; and his beloved dog, Lola.

He is survived by his wife, Debra Condry; daughters, Stormy Condry and Kristi Linebaugh; grandson, Liam Hansen; granddaughters, Eva Moore and Allison Linebaugh; great granddaughter, Dani; brother, Jeff (Lisa) Condry; brothers in law, Allen Ray (Judy)Blevins, Gary (Mary Ann)Blevins, and Danny (Jan) Blevins; special nieces, Chasity White and Cindy Roberts; special nephews, Steven Waldo (Tina) Morelock and Wade Condry; many nieces and nephews; and a very special friend, Helen Hammonds;


A Celebration of Steve's Life will be held Friday, April 26th, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM in the fellowship hall at Gibson Town Ministries 1022 Dorothy Street, Kingsport, TN 37660.
