Robert Henry Nelson

Robert "Bobby" Henry Nelson III, 65, of Bristol, TN, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023.

Born to Robert Nelson II and Janice Nelson in Bristol, Tennessee, Bobby spent his life in northeast Tennessee. He was skilled in his craft as a brick mason from which he had just recently retired. Bobby had three children, Bobby, Josh, and Jerry. He was married to his wife, Susan, and the two lived in Bristol. Bobby was a passionate lifelong fan of Nascar. He was very loved by family and friends, and will be missed by all.

Those left to cherish Bobby's memory include his wife, Susan; sons, Robert "Bobby" Nelson IV and wife, Loretta (Malvern, AR), Joshua Jacob Nelson and wife, Ginger (Bristol, TN), Jerry Paul Nelson and wife, Sandi (Hot Springs, AR); daughter, Cheri Liberty of Florida; grandchildren, Skyler, Michael, Katana, Abel, Mailea, and Avaline; sisters, Debbie Rubincan (Oxford, PA) and Marilyn Gentry and husband, Danny (Hickory Tree, TN); several nieces and nephews; many close friends including Alan Stevens, Tina Stevens, Joe Pridemore, Larry Duncan, and others too numerous to mention.
