Ricky Ray Trivett

Ricky Ray Trivett, age 63, of Gray TN went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 unexpectedly at Johnson City Medical Center. He was born in Abingdon, Virginia to the late Thomas Trivett and Pauline Grant. He retired from Bristol Compressors and attended First Trinity Pentecostal Church in Blountville, TN. Ricky loved fishing and being outdoors. He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Carolyn Trivett and Trish Trivett; and step-dad, Frankie Grant. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Peggy Gibson Trivett; sons, Thomas Trivett (Texas), Derek Trivett (NC), and Ricky Trivett (LA); daughter, Jordan Scarberry (NC); brother, Mike Trivett (Granite Falls, NC); sister, Cathy Trivett (Abingdon, VA); fur babies, Jake and Roscoe; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 5, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home. The service is to follow at 3:00 PM with Reverend Oakley McCoy and Pastor Jerry Webb officiating. Burial will follow at Depews Chapel Cemetery.
