Ricky Allen Brooks

Ricky Allen Brooks, 60, of Kingsport, TN, passed away on Sunday, February 11th, 2024 in Goldsboro, North Carolina at his daughter's home after a lengthy illness.

Ricky is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Betty Brooks.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Susan Brooks; son, Corey Brooks and wife Brianna; daughter, Carrie Annette Brooks and partner Antonio Martinez; grandchildren, Paisleigh, Derek, Ryder, Maddox, Meadow; siblings, Jeff Brooks, Melissa Bortz, Michelle Jones; several nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, February 19th from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm at Taylored Venue and Events (115 Shelby Street, Kingsport, TN). Ricky hated dressing up, so we hope you'll keep it casual too. Please come and share your memories and stores of the time we shared together.

Graveside service will be held at Mountain Home National Cemetery with Military Honors provided by American Legion Hammond's Post 3 / Gate City 265 on Tuesday, February 20th, at 2:00 pm.
