Rickey Darrell Neeley, 63, of Kingsport, TN, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 with his family by his side. Rick was born in Kingsport, TN where he spent most of his life. He enjoyed hunting, especially coons, squirrels, and deer. He also drove and built muscle cars early on in life. Rick became a licensed plumber and for 40 plus years, was the owner and operator of Action Plumbing. Rick was preceded in death by his father, Billy Marcus Neeley; and son, Shannon Marcus Neeley. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Terry; step-son, Rick McClellan; daughters, Erika and Lauren Neeley; grandchildren, Braxton, Conner and McKinley; brothers, Dennis Neeley and wife, Robin, and Gary Neeley; sister, Teresa Richards and husband, Phil; and mother, Billie Jo Carter-Neeley. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday September 13, 2018 from 5pm to 7pm at Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held at Holston View Cemetery on Friday September 14, 2018 at 11am. Pallbearers will be Rick McClellan, Scott Carter, Michael Ervin, Greg Ware, Earl Roller, and Ryan Roller. Honorary pallbearers will be best friends, Jim McMurray, Red Gilliam, and Mike Sams. In lieu of flowers, please send monetary donations to the family for expenses during this difficult time.
