Richard Park Grant

Richard Park Grant passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2020. He was born on January 11, 1940 and was the son of Edgar and Hazel Bingham Grant. He grew up in Mountain City, TN. He graduated from Mountain City High School and served in the United States Army in California. While in the military, he attended finance school. Park worked at Kingsport Press (Quebecor) in Scheduling and Photographic Planning for 40 years. He was a member of Sullivan Baptist Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Christine Eanes Grant; two daughters, Melissa (Steve) Wilmoth, and Alicia (Richard) Henry; grandchildren, Morgan, Grant, Parker and Christopher Wilmoth and Tucker and Lydia Henry; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. At Mr. Grants request, he will be cremated and a private graveside service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers and food, the family request that donations be made to your local animal shelter or a charity of your choice.
