Richard Lee Barnette

Richard (Ricky) L. Barnette, Born February 6th, 1957, went to be with the Lord on July 3rd, 2020. Richard was the son of Margaret and Ervin Barnette. He fought a long, tough battle and finally won independence from his earthly body and now rests in the arms of Jesus. The pain is gone and will never return. Ricky Served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam era. He was a hard worker and worked in several places, including Robert Bosch. He enjoyed motorcycle riding, gardening, and fishing. He loved deeply and was generous to everyone. Ricky was a Christian, saved by Gods Grace through the blood of Jesus Christ. Ricky is preceded in death by his mother Margaret (Robinette) Barnette; father Ervin (Barney) Barnette; and his older brother Henry Barnette. He is survived by his sisters, Deborah (Erwin) Holman and Billie Barnette; brother David Barnette; He is also leaving behind his nephews, Jonathan (Denise) Holman and Benjamin (Elizabeth) Holman; nieces Sarah Holman and Fallon Barnette. He is also survived by 3 great-nieces, 4 grand nephews; and is leaving behind is beloved dog, Barney. Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home (423-723-8177) is honored to serve the family.
