Richard Baines

Richard Bond Baines, 90, of Kingsport, TN, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2022. Born in Fall Branch, Tennessee, to Ordie and Lola Baines, Richard spent his full life in this area. He worked as a land surveyor. He really enjoyed county music, and was especially fond of Dolly Parton. Richard was preceded in death by his five brothers, O.M. Baines, Jr., Jesse Baines, Walter C. Baines, D.L. Baines, Jim Baines; two sisters, Mary Sue Painter, Cena Ferguson. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. The family would like to offer special thanks to Wexford House of Kingsport and Amedisys Hospice. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Richards name to St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
